There’s a week of beautiful weather ahead here in Vancouver, and we have just picked up the 2011 Audi A8. The phone has already started ringing with “volunteers” willing to provide feedback from the back seat as we chauffeur them around the city. Over the coming week the A8 will get a thorough working through its paces as highway cruiser, mobile boardroom, limousine service and a bit of mobster impersonation mixed in for good measure.
Our initial tour around Vancouver yesterday afternoon immediately revealed that the A8 is definitely built with its passengers as a priority. It does not shine as a drivers car near as much as its brother the S8, however every bit of execution within the car has comfort in mind. Stay tuned for the full review in the weeks to come where we will discuss the ins and outs of Audi’s ultimate executive saloon.
